WINDOW TINTING SINGAPORE

Window Tinting in Singapore

Singapore sun is unavoidable. The heat inside your car doesn’t have to be.

WINDOW TINTING

Maximum Heat Rejection. Full LTA Compliance. No Surprises at Inspection.

Singapore’s climate is not kind to an untinted cabin. UV exposure degrades your interior. Heat builds in minutes when parked. The driver’s seat on a midday collection from a carpark should not feel like a penalty.

Proper window tinting fixes this. But there is a step most workshops skip, and it is the one that causes cars to fail inspection.

LTA’s 70% VLT requirement for front windows applies to the combined reading of the glass and the film together. Not the film rating alone. Most factory glass already transmits around 75% to 80% of light. Apply a “70% VLT film” on top of 75% factory glass and the combined result is approximately 52%. That fails inspection.

Before we recommend any film, we test your existing glass with a digital VLT meter. We measure the base glass first, then select a film that brings the combined reading to at least 70% for front windows and 25% for rear windows. You collect with a reading that passes, not a film rating that sounds compliant but fails in practice.

VLT Meter Testing Before Every Recommendation

We do not guess on this. We measure your factory glass first. Every film recommendation is based on your car’s actual baseline, not a generic spec sheet.

IRR and UVR — What Actually Matters in Singapore

IRR (Infrared Rejection) tells you how effectively it reduces infrared heat, while UVR (Ultraviolet Rejection) measures how much harmful UV radiation the film blocks.

In Singapore’s climate, both matter — IRR helps keep the cabin more comfortable, while UVR helps reduce UV exposure to you and your interior. We provide the specific IRR and UVR ratings of every film we carry before you decide, so you know exactly what you’re getting.

Workmanship Backed on Every Job

A window tint installation done properly in a controlled environment should not bubble. Ours does not. If something is not right, come back. We make it right.

"Comfort and compliance — your window tint should deliver both."

WHY CHOOSE US

Why LTA Compliance on Window Tint Is Not Something to Guess At

Illegal Modifications Now Carry Up to $20,000 in Fines

Since February 2026, illegal vehicle modifications carry fines of up to $20,000 for individuals. A non-compliant window tint is a modification that fails inspection and falls squarely under enforcement. Every tint we install is measured and verified before the car leaves our workshop.

Clean Installation in a Controlled Environment

Bubbles and imperfections often come down to poor glass preparation, trapped dust, or rushed installation. That’s why we take the time to properly clean, prepare and apply every tint before the car leaves our workshop.

Some light moisture or haze during the curing period can be normal — but contamination, creases and poor finishing are not.

You Know Exactly What Was Fitted

We tell you the film type, the VLT readings for each window, and what to expect at your next inspection. No guesswork. No surprises at VICOM or STA.

FAQs

What to Know Before You Tint

LTA requires the combined reading of glass plus film to be at least 70% VLT for the front windscreen and front side windows, and at least 25% VLT for rear windows. We measure your factory glass first with a digital VLT meter before recommending any film. The darkest legal tint you can have depends on your specific car's factory glass — not a fixed film rating.

Because the VLT rating on the film is not the combined VLT reading on your actual glass. Factory glass at 75% plus a 70% VLT film gives you approximately 52% combined — which fails the front window requirement. The film was compliant on its own. The installation was not. We prevent this by measuring your glass before selecting any film.

No. The window films we install do not affect your OBU or ERP 2.0 signal.

A full car window tint typically takes 3 to 4 hours. We advise on the cure time before you drive in heavy rain. We tell you exactly what to avoid in the first few days at collection.

It unlikely at Project modz but do come back. Bubbles that appear shortly after installation in a controlled environment are a workmanship issue. We will look at it and fix it.

WhatsApp us your car model and which tint service you are looking at. We will tell you the film options, the expected IRR and UVR figures, and the price for your vehicle.
