Service Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

These Service Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern all products and services provided by Project Modz Pte Ltd (UEN: 201734576R) (“Project Modz”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).

By requesting a quotation, making a booking, paying a deposit, delivering your vehicle to us, or allowing us to commence work, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Services

Our services include, but are not limited to:

• Vinyl Colour Change Wrap
• Clear Paint Protection Film (PPF)
• Colour Paint Protection Film (Colour PPF)
• Window Tint / Solar Film
• Roof Wrap
• Dechrome / Chrome Delete
• Carbon Fibre Wrap
• Headlight & Taillight Protection Film
• Interior Protection Film
• Decals & Graphics
• Vehicle Cosmetic Enhancement
• Other automotive customisation services

3. Quotations

All quotations are:

• valid for seven (7) days unless otherwise stated;
• subject to material availability;
• subject to vehicle inspection where necessary;
• subject to changes if hidden damage or additional work is discovered.

Prices may vary where the vehicle has previous repairs, repainting, accident damage or requires additional preparation.

4. Booking & Deposits

A booking may require a deposit.

Unless otherwise agreed:

• deposits secure your appointment and material allocation;
• deposits are strictly non-refundable even before materials have been ordered, cut or installation has commenced;
• appointments may be rescheduled with reasonable notice, subject to availability.

5. Vehicle Condition

Before work begins, customers are responsible for informing Project Modz of:

• previous repainting;
• accident repairs;
• body filler;
• existing paint defects;
• ceramic coating;
• previous wraps or PPF;
• rust;
• body modifications.

Failure to disclose these conditions may affect installation quality and warranty coverage.

6. Vehicle Inspection

Before installation we may inspect and photograph your vehicle.

Photographs may be taken to document:

• scratches;
• dents;
• paint chips;
• repaint areas;
• wheel condition;
• glass condition;
• existing defects.

These photographs may be retained as part of our service records.

7. Paint Condition

Vinyl wrap and Paint Protection Film rely heavily on the condition of the vehicle’s paint.

Project Modz cannot guarantee installation on:

• repainted panels;
• poorly repaired panels;
• oxidised paint;
• failing clear coat;
• unstable paint;
• body filler.

Removal of vinyl wrap, decals or PPF from previously repainted surfaces may result in paint lifting. This is an inherent risk of repainted or poorly bonded paintwork and is not considered an installation defect.

Project Modz shall not be responsible for paint lifting arising from pre-existing paint conditions.

8. Installation Standards

Project Modz performs installations using professional techniques and industry best practices.

Due to vehicle design, certain areas may require:

• relief cuts;
• seams;
• overlaps;
• edge finishing;
• trimming.

These are normal installation methods and are not considered workmanship defects where they meet accepted industry standards.

9. Colour Variations

Customers acknowledge that:

• digital images may differ from actual film colours;
• printed samples may vary from production batches;
• lighting conditions affect colour appearance;
• satin, matte and gloss finishes appear differently under different lighting.

Minor colour variations do not constitute defects.

10. Paint Protection Film (PPF)

PPF is designed to help protect vehicle paint from normal road hazards.

However, no Paint Protection Film is indestructible.

PPF does not guarantee protection against:

• severe impacts;
• accidents;
• vandalism;
• deep stone strikes;
• chemical damage;
• improper maintenance;
• misuse.

Self-healing performance may vary depending on product type, environmental conditions and maintenance.

11. Vinyl Wrap

Vinyl wrap is intended for cosmetic enhancement.

Expected characteristics may include:

• slight edge shrinkage over time;
• minor lifting on complex curves;
• normal ageing;
• reduced lifespan under harsh environmental conditions.

Proper care significantly extends product lifespan.

12. Window Tint

Window tint performance may vary depending on:

• glass type;
• factory tint;
• electronic devices;
• weather conditions.

Customers remain responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable Singapore regulations regarding visible light transmission where required.

13. Vehicle Collection

Customers should collect their vehicle promptly upon notification that work has been completed.

Vehicles left beyond a reasonable period may incur storage charges after prior notice.

14. Payment

Unless otherwise agreed:

• full payment shall be made upon completion and prior to vehicle collection;
• Project Modz reserves the right to retain possession of the customer’s vehicle and withhold its release until all outstanding amounts, including any agreed variations, storage fees, administrative charges and other sums due under the quotation or invoice, have been paid in full.

Late payment may attract reasonable administrative charges where permitted by law.

15. Warranty

Where applicable, warranty covers manufacturing defects and installation workmanship only.

Warranty does not cover:

• accidents;
• collisions;
• vandalism;
• abuse;
• misuse;
• improper washing;
• pressure washer damage;
• chemical damage;
• stone chips;
• environmental contamination;
• neglect;
• unauthorised repairs;
• normal wear and tear.

Warranty is void where products have been modified or repaired by third parties without our approval.

Specific products warranty periods vary depending on the product supplied and are stated on the customer’s invoice, warranty card or quotation.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted under Singapore law, Project Modz shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or special losses arising from the use of our products or services.

Our liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer for the specific services giving rise to the claim, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

17. Force Majeure

Project Modz shall not be liable for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

• supplier delays;
• material shortages;
• extreme weather;
• natural disasters;
• government restrictions;
• power failures;
• labour disruptions.

18. Intellectual Property

All photographs, videos, artwork, graphics, website content, logos, designs and marketing materials created by Project Modz remain our intellectual property unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Customers shall not reproduce or use our intellectual property for commercial purposes without prior written consent.

19. Vehicle Photography

We may photograph or video vehicles before, during and after installation for:

• quality control;
• warranty records;
• training;
• portfolio purposes;
• marketing.

If you do not wish your vehicle to be featured in marketing materials, please inform us before work commences. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your request.

20. Privacy

Collection, use and disclosure of personal data are governed by our Privacy Policy available on our website.

21. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore.

Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore Courts.
